GENERAL CONDITIONS OF SALE

Article 1 – Preamble & Scope

Maison Ric – Paris is a company duly incorporated under French law, with its registered office in France (hereinafter “Maison Ric”), operating the official website www.maisonricparis.com (the “Website”).

These General Conditions of Sale (“GCS”) govern exclusively the online sale of Maison Ric products to retail customers (B2C) via the Website.

Access to the Website and the placement of an order imply full and unconditional acceptance of these GCS by the customer.

Wholesale, professional, distributor, or resale purchases (B2B) are expressly excluded from these GCS and are governed by separate contractual agreements.

Article 2 – Eligibility

The Website is intended solely for:

  • Private individuals acting as end consumers;
  • Non-professional buyers purchasing for personal use.

The resale, distribution, or commercial exploitation of Maison Ric products purchased through the Website is strictly prohibited without prior written authorization from Maison Ric.

Article 3 – Products

Products offered for sale are those displayed on the Website at the time of consultation, subject to availability.

Maison Ric strives to ensure accurate descriptions, visuals, and olfactory descriptions. However, slight variations may occur, particularly due to the artisanal and natural nature of raw materials used in perfumery.

Article 4 – Availability

All product offers are valid while stocks last.

In the event a product becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, Maison Ric will inform the customer as soon as reasonably possible and propose:

  • A replacement product, or
  • A cancellation with full refund of the unavailable item.

Maison Ric reserves the right to limit quantities per order to prevent abuse or unauthorized resale.

Article 5 – Ordering Process

Orders are placed directly on the Website.

Before final confirmation, the customer may review order details, prices, shipping costs, and correct any errors.

Once validated, the order constitutes a firm and definitive purchase, subject to payment confirmation and product availability.

Order confirmation by email acknowledges receipt only and does not constitute acceptance until shipment is confirmed.

Article 6 – Prices

Prices displayed on the Website are shown in different currencies depending on the language and regional version of the Website.

– Prices displayed on the French version of the Website are expressed in Euros (EUR).
– Prices displayed on the English version of the Website are expressed in US Dollars (USD).

The applicable currency is determined by the version of the Website consulted at the time the order is placed.

Any conversion between currencies is provided for convenience only and does not constitute a contractual exchange rate.

The amount charged will correspond to the currency displayed and confirmed at checkout.

Article 7 – Payment

Payment is due in full at the time of order.

Accepted payment methods include:

  • Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
  • Other secure payment solutions as indicated on the Website

All transactions are secured through encrypted payment systems. Orders are processed only after full payment authorization.

Products remain the property of Maison Ric until full payment is received.

Article 8 – Right of Withdrawal (B2C)

In accordance with European consumer law, customers have fourteen (14) days from receipt of the order to exercise their right of withdrawal, without justification.

For hygiene and safety reasons, perfumes that have been opened, unsealed, or used are not eligible for return or refund.

Returned products must be:

  • Unopened and unused
  • In original packaging
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase

Refunds will be issued within 30 days of validated return.

Article 9 – Returns & Refunds

To request a return, customers must contact Maison Ric customer service prior to shipment of the return.

Return shipping costs are borne by the customer unless the product is defective or incorrect.

Maison Ric reserves the right to refuse returns that do not comply with these conditions.

Article 10 – Delivery

Maison Ric delivers internationally to selected countries listed on the Website.

Delivery times are indicative and may vary depending on destination, customs procedures, or force majeure events.

Maison Ric shall not be held liable for delays caused by carriers or customs authorities.

Risk transfers to the customer upon delivery.

Article 11 – Defective or Damaged Products

Customers must inspect orders upon receipt.

Any defect or damage must be reported to Maison Ric within three (3) days of delivery, with supporting evidence (photos, videos).

Legal warranties under French and European law apply.

Article 12 – Intellectual Property

All content on the Website (texts, visuals, trademarks, logos, videos, formulations, concepts) is the exclusive property of Maison Ric – Paris.

Any reproduction, use, or exploitation without prior written authorization is strictly prohibited.

Article 13 – Force Majeure

Maison Ric shall not be held liable for failure or delay in performance due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, transport disruptions, or governmental actions.

Article 14 – Governing Law & Disputes

These GCS are governed by French law.

In the event of dispute, an amicable solution shall be sought prior to any legal action.

Failing amicable resolution, French courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
