Sick A Duck is inspired by Amsterdam’s red-light undercurrent — where identity, desire, and secrecy collide. The name twists a notorious brothel’s slang, turning taboo into confidence. Maison Ric breaks stereotypes, and here, sex is not hidden or coded. It is direct, honest, and human. In that dim, foggy city, we walked into a small, closed, unmarked door. Inside: leather, heat, rubber, wet fabrics, metal, musk, and the faint sweetness of fruit. Darkness flickered with light; everything existed for a reason. It was uncomfortable, magnetic, and unforgettable — perfect fuel for a scent that confronts truth head-on.
Sick A Duck uses techniques never seen before in Maison Ric. A subtle “skin-secretion” facet is created through Pheromone Encapsulate — using pungent notes from aloe blossom and dragon-fruit rind to craft a clean, precise, unmistakably human tension. Patchouli and vetiver are aged in fire-roasted oak barrels for six months, then smoked and captured through a restricted, proprietary extraction method. The result is a dark, woody, addictive core — echoing leather rooms, worn wood, heated breath, and the sharp sting of metal.
This scent is intentionally provocative. Heart rate rises. Focus sharpens. A restless desire to smell again and again emerges. Sick A Duck amplifies emotional hormones tied to intimacy, turning vulnerability into power. It is the boldest creation in the Maison Ric universe — raw, magnetic, and impossible to forget.
