Description

A wild apple liquor on skin — sharp, cool, then warmly addictive.

Liqueur de Meo captures the highlands’ spirit: raw, sweet, sensual, and dangerously unforgettable.

Liqueur de Meo is our tribute to the northern highlands of Vietnam, where the H’Mong people craft their legendary apple wine. Their Son Tra fruit — wild, sour, sharply aromatic — grows only in the mountain air of Lao Cai and Sa Pa. It’s rustic, untamed, and deeply tied to the spirit of the people. The West has whisky and cognac. The highlands have Son Tra — a scent and flavor powerful enough to stand beside any iconic spirit.

We wanted a wine note unlike anything on the market. Not Western, not familiar — something distinctly Vietnamese yet globally irresistible. Son Tra was the key. Hand-harvested and extracted through a 3-year Supercritical CO₂ process, it becomes an ingredient used exclusively by Maison Ric — nowhere else. To deepen the “liquor” texture, we paired it with two rare apple profiles: Japan’s honey-sweet Kiku and Australia’s crisp, sour Granny Smith. Both are captured through the same CO₂ method, the only technique capable of preserving their true, fresh aroma.

The result is a fragrance that mirrors Northwest apple wine: sharp at first breath, cool on the skin, then slowly warming into ripe apple, fermented Son Tra, soft leather, and musk. As the body heats, Kiku rises — sweet, sensual, honey-like — giving Liqueur de Meo its signature fleshiness and quiet allure.
